We believe in the sovereignty of the one God, eternally existing in the triune Godhead: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments in their original writing are inspired by God and accept them as the final authority for faith and life. We believe that in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, God has revealed Himself and given us an authoritative disclosure of His character and will.
We believe that mankind was created in the image and likeness of God, but through Adam's sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature and became alienated from God; and that man lives in total depravity and is utterly incapable of redeeming himself.
We believe that Jesus Christ, the everlasting Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal the Father and redeem mankind. We believe that Jesus accomplished our redemption through His vicarious, substitutionary and sacrificial death on the cross as a representative; and that our peace with God is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead. We believe that Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven, was seated on the right hand of Majesty where He continues serving humanity as our High Priest, Intercessor, and Advocate with the Father.
The Gospel of the Kingdom
We believe the "Gospel" is the good news of deliverance from the bondage of the present age and the age to come. We believe the Gospel includes the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ along with His ongoing ministry to restore all things. We believe that the proclamation of the Gospel must make provision for the present reign of Christ over all things, or it is inadequate.
We believe that because of the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God freely forgives those who are brought to repentance and faith in His Son. We believe that all who are justified by the grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and of judgment and that He is the supernatural agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ. We believe in (a) the baptism of the Holy Spirit, by which believers are empowered and equipped for service (b) the gifts of and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
We believe the one true and universal Church consists of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit; that the local church should be the expression of the one true and universal Church; that Christ appointed the ministries of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry. We believe in the ultimate triumph of the Church through the power of the Holy Spirit under the government of King Jesus.
